Kitchen Compost Container - Kitchen Composter with 18 Liter Capacity

This large size, single piece design, kitchen composter makes it very easy to compost all food waste including meats and fish. The composter includes an air tight lid that makes it easy to load and unload and a spigot to collect the compost tea. This kitchen composter uses Bokashi as a compost activator. This is a bran based material that has been prepared with EM, a mixed culture of naturally occurring friendly microorganisms. This addition causes the food waste to ferment allowing it to then be safely composted.

The Kitchen Waste Compost bin allows 100% home compost to be achieved by tackling the elements of organic waste that cannot be put into a traditional compost bin. This composter is ultra easy to use and is particularly designed for quick loading and easy unloading of debris and finished compost.

The 18 liter (4.75 gallon) composter can produce approximately .7 cubic feet of nutrient rich compost. The counter top composter is very easy to use and makes composting a breeze. The rugged rotational molded container is made from plastic and is built to last through many seasons. All items in the photo including the compost activator are included with the purchase. The compost container is 15" tall and 12.6" wide and 10.2" deep and weighs approximately 5 pounds.

This order usually ships within 3 to 4 business working days. This means, the order leaves our warehouse within 3 to 4 business after the order was placed. All ground orders usually take the following amount of time after they have been shipped: 

• West Coast = approx. 1 to 2 business working days
• Mid West = approx. 3 to 4 business working days
• East Coast = approx. 4 to 5 business working days 

Ground shipments can take up to 7 to 15 business working days to arrive but this is highly unlikely.
